How do I coordinate colors and choose materials?
Here are some of my favorite materials, sequins, beads, and crystals.
I always choose my materials very carefully, especially about the color.
I always think about what colors could go great together,
and choose carefully colors which complement each other.
These are some example of color coordination of gold(yellowish tone)and purple.
These two colors look great together because yellow and purple are opponent color, complementary color.
Choosing materials and colors are very important step of design and it sometimes more important than design itself.
If you choose wrong materials or colors, it makes your design looks cheap and non-professional.
There are some rules of colors , so once you study the rules you 'll be able to use many colors better even if you don't have any artistic ability.;P
私の好きな素材や色合いついて紹介します。
スパンコールやビーズ、クリスタルビジュー等は好きで良く利用します。
素材を選ぶ時が一番時間がかかると言ってもいい位、重要視しています。
質感や形もそうですが、色味、色の組み合わせには特に。
この画像の素材は、ゴールドとパープルの組み合わせ、補色同士(黄色と紫)の配色です。
私も大好きで鉄板の配色です。
色合いを決めるのはセンスとも言えますが、
ある程度は法則があるので勉強で身につける事ができます。
